Founded in 2005 by acclaimed automotive author Philip Porter, it is now firmly established as the leading motoring book publisher. The flagship ‘Great Cars’ series has won numerous awards, with subjects including the double Le Mans-winning Ford GT40, Ross Brawn’s Rob Walker Ferrari 250 GT SWB and a very important 250 GTO.
The sister ‘Exceptional Cars’ series is also well-established and includes titles on the first three AC Cobras, an important GT40 and the Ferrari 250 LM that finished third at Le Mans. More recent series include Coachbuilt Cars and the incredible Ultimate series with two-volume titles on Ferrari 250 GTOs, McLaren F1 GTRs and Works Porsche 956s, plus a very wide variety of bespoke titles.
