UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation for children, working in 190 countries to reach the most vulnerable and excluded children.
Coronavirus is the biggest global crisis for children since World War Two. The outbreak threatens children already weakened by war, disease, hunger and poverty, whose very survival depends on health care, life-saving food, clean water and medical supplies. Unless we act now, more than one million children could die over the next six months due to the reduction of services – that’s a staggering 6000 children a day. Unicef is working to slow the spread of coronavirus, protect keyworkers and reduce its impact on children and families.
Proceeds of the Concours Virtual will support Unicef’s vital work to protect children in danger.
